The Rob Williams Sports and Music Festival 2010

On Saturday 19th June 2010 the first annual sports and music event in aid of the Prince’s Trust - Rob Williams Enterprise Fund and the Beaumont School Association (BSA) will take place at Beaumont School in St.Albans.

The Rob Williams Enterprise Fund was set up after Rob’s life was tragically cut short in 2009. The money raised for the fund is used to help young entrepreneurs starting out in the music and technology industries.

The event will consist of a range of fun activities for both children and adults, including a sponsored team sports event, skateboard & graffiti exhibitions, DJ lessons, stalls, games and a live music stage.

Sponsored teams will compete in a variety of sports to raise money for the fund. The competition will culminate in a Crazy Relay with all teams competing for the last chance to gain points.

Prizes will be awarded for the winning sports team and those who raise the most sponsorship money. The event will also be an opportunity to acknowledge all of the Year 9 pupils for taking part in the 'Prince’s Trust Million Makers School Challenge' and present the winning pupils with their prizes.

On the Live music stage there will be a selection of bands and DJs performing throughout the afternoon and a few acoustic sets at the Hay Bales. Check out the current line up.
